Steffan Hakanson

Senior Pastor

Bro. Steffan grew up in Skiatook at IBC. He received his Bachelor of Science in Park Law Enforcement at Southwestern Oklahoma State University, and attended seminary at Liberty University Baptist Theological Seminary where he received a Master of Religious Education degree, followed by a Master of Divinity. Bro. Steffan has been involved in ministry since 2011 in a variety of ways, including maintenance, children and family ministry, youth ministry, and the pastorate in both Oklahoma and Texas. He loves unpacking the Word of God one verse at a time, enjoys a good theological discussion, and likes leading small discipleship groups. Bro. Steffan is an avid reader and collector of books, enjoys playing and collecting guitars, and enjoys shooting and hunting as well. Bro. Steffan is married to Rachelle, and she homeschools their six children. Rachelle is also a graduate of Southwestern, receiving degrees in both Accounting and Mathematics. She enjoys crafting and reading in her spare time.
